Republican Texas Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne is leading the effort alongside multiple congressmen calling on the Trump administration to investigate H-1B fraud in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
After multiple investigative reports of alleged fraud within DFW have been uncovered, Texas representatives are requesting President Donald Trump and his administration to immediately investigate the fraud.
Earlier this year, BlazeTV Host Sara Gonzales released multiple investigations showing the alarming number of businesses abusing the H-1B visa system.
In a January investigation, Gonzales found two addresses linked to tech companies that primarily rely on foreign workers. One company 3Bees Technologies Inc., whose president is Vamsi Krishna Vajinapally, had 27 H-1B workers approved in 2022. The other, Qubitz Tech Systems, had 12 H-1B beneficiaries approved in 2025.
When Gonzales visited the listed offices for both companies, she found that one was a vacant construction site, while the other was a small, vacant room with two folding tables and a single chair.
Additionally, when she pressed one of the owners about where the workers were, he got extremely hostile and called the police on her for questioning him.
Last month, Gonzales released another investigation revealing another supposed tech company named Great America Technologies, which is listed as being located in Plano, Texas. The company has 17 H-1B workers listed as being employed by them at the office in Plano.
In fact, when Gonzales attempted to make contact with employees with the tech company, she instead was met with a woman who had no idea what the company was. The number even listed on Great America Technologies official website does not even work.
After being unable to contact the workers, Gonzales eventually went to the business owner’s residence and confronted him. After asking multiple questions, the owner became hostile and told her to leave his property and he shortly called the police on her.
After the investigations were released, Van Duyne, Republican Texas Reps. Ronny Jackson, Brandon Gill, and Pat Fallon, signed a letter to the Trump administration calling for an investigation into the fraud.
“Recent reporting and stakeholder engagement have highlighted troubling patterns of misuse of the H-1B visa program, including allegations of fraudulent job postings, misrepresentation of job qualifications, wage manipulation, and the use of shell or intermediary companies to secure visas under false pretenses,” the letter reads. “These practices not only undermine the statutory purpose of the H-1B program—to fill legitimate, high-skilled workforce needs—but also disadvantage qualified American workers and lawful visa applicants who abide by the rules.”
“Beyond economic impacts, there are also broader compliance and security considerations. Fraudulent use of employment-based visas may indicate systemic weaknesses in interagency coordination, verification mechanisms, and oversight of sponsoring employers. Ensuring that individuals entering the United States through legal channels are properly vetted and placed in legitimate employment is essential to maintaining both economic integrity and national security,” the representatives added.
The Texas representatives are requesting that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. Department of State to conduct an investigation into reported H-1B fraud activities, review the current H-1B adjudication and verification processes to identify vulnerabilities, strengthen enforcement mechanisms, and provide recommendations to Congress on how to close loopholes within the system.
“We stand ready to work with your Departments to address these concerns and strengthen the integrity of our employment-based immigration system,” the letter concludes.
